Lancashire Pendle and Forest of Bowland Holiday Cottage

Testimonials

"We had a great time at Throstle Hall Cottage - unfortunately it rained all weekend but despite that we had a lot of fun. The cottage was fantastic - the living space upstairs is particularly lovely and suited us really well. It was a great surprise for my dad's 70th birthday and a wonderful weekend.

We had a lovely time in the cottage over New Year, it is even more beautiful "in person" than on the pictures, we found it be spacious, well equipped and very homely. It was ideal for us. We visited the tea room, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very fortunate to have such good weather, we did find the drive down the field to the cottage, and in particular up the field again a bit tricky from time to time, but it was all part of the adventure!!

All in all it is a wonderful retreat, and would highly recommend it; it was the perfect way to begin the year. 2011 New Year visitors

"This is a lovely cottage, I love it. We're definitely going to come and stay again. There are loads of lovely countryside walks down by the stream. We saw a stoat. There are beautiful views and I got frightened by the witches on Pendle Hill. The rooms are good and the kitchen is great. The log burner is immense!!!! George and Tilly are sweet, George came to see us quite often." Maisie aged 9
